DHS Tour of East Dorset

The Dorset Historical Society will host Michelle Pagan, a longtime museum professional and resident of East Dorset, on Saturday, August 3, who will share her research on historic houses in East Dorset.
The event begins with a virtual tour of some of its oldest structures at the Bley House Museum in Dorset Village. Learn about its social and cultural history from the east side of Dorset, where the marble industry dominated the landscape – from its mills, quarry operations and rail transport, to farming and hospitality. Following Pagan’s presentation, attendees will be provided with maps for self-driving tour of the area. The program will begin at 12 noon.
