Hello, Friends! There are so many things to enjoy about March. Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day. Did you celebrate? My snowdrops are in bloom, and the Vernal Equinox is coming up this Saturday, on March 21, which just happens to align with the annual Maple Open House weekend across the state of Vermont!

While Vermont's sweet, syrupy treasure is enjoyed throughout the year, authentic maple season is happening right now! Plenty of exciting experiences await, and you don’t need to travel any farther than the Shires to enjoy Vermont’s “Maple Madness!” The Manchester Business Association recently released its annual Maple Madness resource page, as well as its March monthly newsletter, which includes all the information you need on maple tours, tasting experiences, where to buy local maple products, and, as always, where you can stay while you’re enjoying the sweetness of the season.
Last year, my family and I ate at The Dorset Inn in the Tavern, where they had some mapley treats on their menu to highlight our favorite taste of the season. There are plenty of restaurants joining in on the maple fun, like Ye Olde Tavern and Union Underground, so be sure to check out manchestervermont.com for all the details.

And if you’re keen on doing some early spring skiing while snow supplies last, check out some of the special lodging options available with Spring into Savings!
