Hello, Friends. Happy October! I have officially launched into “spooky season,” during which I start watching as many scary movies as I can between now and Halloween. From slightly scary to macabre to downright horrifying, I love it all! The creative costume ideas are also brewing…

If you dress up in costume or have kids who do: now’s the time to decide on your looks! Do you open your door to trick or treaters? Start stocking up on candy and treats now, and please don’t forget to consider some non-candy treats when you’re out shopping! Love pumpkin carving? Make sure you have a good carving kit and some design inspirations, because you’ll want to both decorate your home with Jack-o-lanterns and enter Manchester’s Pumpkin Carving Contest (see more on that in Our Community)!

While I’m planning my own Halloween festivities, I’ve also been taking a look back at some of the Fall stories we’ve done across our publications. In addition to our Fall ‘25 issues of both Stratton Magazine and Berkshire Magazine, which are still fresh for the season, there are so many other great Fall articles in the archives.
