We are excited to release our second annual issue of Manchester Life Magazine and continue our mission to showcase all that is spectacular and celebratory in Manchester and the Mountains.
Special and new this year is the launch of the first annual 4 FREEDOMS FESTIVAL presented by THE MILL of Arlington. This month-long festival is being held throughout the area, celebrating freedom and marking the 75th anniversary of the printing of Norman Rockwell’s famous Four Freedoms in The Saturday Evening Post. Read about all the events on page 31 and join us in July
Explore and experience Manchester’s Depot Street with its new bike and pedestrian lanes and green space to enhance your shopping and recreational adventures. Take this year’s walking tour through historic Main Street which was also the recent filming site of the ABC production of The Bachelor Winter Games.
Other fabulous summer highlights include performances of I’m Not Rappaport starring Judd Hirsch at the Dorset Theatre Festival, fan favorites, Our Town and West Side Story at Weston Playhouse, and appearances by the acclaimed Escher String Quartet and conductor Michael Stern at Manchester Music Festival.
As summer turns to fall, experience the Independent Television Festival by attending screenings of innovative TV pilots that may just be the next big thing.
And last but not least, this season we pay special tribute to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center’s centennial with an insert on A Century of Caring and Tips for Better Living.
