Andrea grew up in the quiet suburb south of Boston, Hingham, Massachusetts. She is a graduate of Salve Regina University in Newport, RI with a BA in Early Childhood and Elementary Education as well as a MA in Special Education. Prior to settling in Manchester, VT, Andrea and husband, Mark, a Port Washington, NY native, lived in the Pacific Northwest as well as Fairfield, CT. Fly fishing and upland bird hunting was the original drive for moving to Vermont. Since moving here in 2001, it has become very clear that this was the best choice for them and their two boys, Miles and Maxx. The quaint characteristics of the town, the tight knit community and immediate involvement in civic duties has made this the best decision. Both boys are students at local schools, Miles is a freshman at Burr and Burton Academy (BBA) and plays on the football and hockey teams. Maxx is a 6th grader at Manchester Elementary Middle School. Maxx also has a love for ice hockey, spending countless hours at Riley Rink not to mention at their home outdoor ice rink as well.In addition to her own children, her family hosts a BBA international student from the Czech Republic. Jakub is a junior, who is extremely athletic and sports minded as well as an excellent woodworker and artist.
Andrea is Past President of the South Central Vermont Board of REALTORS®, a Board member of the Friends Foundation for MEMS (A non-profit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for students at Manchester – Elementary Middle School.
